With nearly 25 years experience in the property industry, Martin is well placed in his role as Branch Manager for Pace. After joining the business in 2010 Martin took it upon himself to foster excellent customer service among the team and this continues to position Pace as a leader in its field today.
Starting his career in 1987, Martin worked for the Financial Services Corporation as a Mortgage Broker where he quickly excelled. After only three years he was successfully managing the Mortgage department. By 1996, Martin had moved to Sterling Properties working in the lettings field for the first time. It was here, working alongside the founder of the business, that Martin developed the financial services arm of the company. After many years of hard work, the London Scottish Banking Group acquired Sterling Properties where Martin remained as Head of Operations.
Lisa Clark joined the Pace sales team in 2012 with 6 years property experience. Having worked previously with other independent estate agents, Lisa brings an in-depth knowledge of local market conditions to her role as Senior Sales Negotiator.
She deals with every aspect of the sales process, providing expert and honest advice together with tailor-made marketing plans for each property she lists for sale. She prides herself on providing excellent customer service and takes a highly proactive approach to achieving the best possible price and sale time for our clients in an increasingly competitive property marketplace.
Lisa is currently a studying member of the National Association Of Estate Agents and in her spare time, she loves to socialise with friends, their children and her family.
In 2008, Marcus chose to take a change in career direction away a supervisory role in retail to move in to the property industry. He began with Pace in the lettings department as a negotiator in 2008 and moved into his current position of Letting Manager in 2011. In his day to day role, Marcus ensures our landlord clients get the best return in the right timeframe for their investments by conducting rental appraisals, letting viewings and oversees the running of the lettings department.
Since having achieved his ARLA technical award, he completely understands the needs and wishes of his clients. Marcus brings a deep commitment to the service of both landlords and tenants to Pace.
Marcus lives with his partner and young family in Southend and is currently studying for an NVQ in Sales and Management.
Kelly joined Pace in 2008 as an Accounts Assistant having acquired 4 years’ experience in a number of financial roles with other local companies. During her time at Pace, she has continued to expand her skill set and demonstrated her knowledge and ability within the accountancy field. This resulted in a promotion to Accounts Manager in 2009. In this, her current position, she has proved herself to be an approachable, reliable and a well organised member of the team.
Kelly is a studying member of the Association of Account Technicians and is due to become a full member during the next year. Her professional development continues to progress as she works towards achieving additional accountancy qualifications.
In 2010 Kelly took on a new role when she became a first time mother to her baby, Aimee. She now balances being a busy parent and a valued member of the Pace team.
